You will experience a degree of connection, forgiveness, and healing, and better understanding from your most complex relationships.

Bree Romero
I am a multicultural therapist, . I believe in healing, nurturing, and loving into existence our heart’s desires. In today’s world of instant gratification, social media platforms that create a cycle of seeking validation and engagement, and constant hypervigilance of how others perceive us, it may seem almost radical to quiet the chatter, look within and to explore our innermost thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Counseling is about putting the focus on your life in a way that’s intimate, personal, kind, and caring.

Camille Cruz
I am an art therapy and counseling master’s student from Seton Hill University. I aspire to treat trauma through creative art making and mindfulness practices. I consider it important to acknowledge pain and difficult emotions to begin the healing process.
Many times, art making allows an indirect, less intimidating process of facing strong feelings and self-discovery. My approach is person-centered; I like to follow the lead of my client. I think clients are experts in their own lives, and it is crucial to listen to the knowledge and wisdom they bring to therapy.
I will often provide guidance, especially when it comes to trying new creative approaches. I believe that creativity heals, and each person has their own “creative magic” that could transform their life. My mission is to help clients find a healing method that works for them. This could be talk therapy, art therapy, or other methods such as mindfulness.
I think it is imperative to consider how trauma affects the mind and body, as well as how the systems that we are a part of shape us. I have developed a multicultural approach during my studies that welcomes discussion around people’s unique characteristics. I believe that embracing these qualities can serve to empower individuals to face their narratives and rise above their challenges.

Kyra Woodworth

Walkiris Santana
I’ve spent the last 12 years working in dual diagnosis, and it’s truly become my calling. What drives me is meeting people where they are and helping them discover their own strength and voice. I believe deeply in giving my patients real choices and control over their treatment—because at the end of the day, they’re the experts on their own lives.
I love connecting people with the resources they need and helping them understand what they’re going through. Working with families has taught me so much about how healing happens not just individually, but in the relationships that matter most. Every person I work with teaches me something new, and I try to bring that genuine curiosity and care to every interaction. My approach is simple: listen first, support always, and never lose sight of the person behind the diagnosis.

Kevin Perez
In my practice, I focus on creating a warm and empathetic presence that helps teenagers and young adults feel comfortable and understood. I believe that a trusting relationship is essential for effective therapy, and I strive to foster this connection from our very first interaction. By actively engaging with families, I emphasize joining and rapport building, which is crucial for creating a collaborative therapeutic environment. I prioritize establishing a safe and supportive space where clients can freely share their challenges, utilizing active listening, empathy, and non-judgmental support to build trust.
Central to my approach is play therapy, which allows young clients to express themselves in a natural and engaging way. Through various interventions like art, board games, card games, and even video games, I facilitate communication and emotional processing. I also employ a solution-focused approach, guiding families to identify their strengths and envision the world they want to live and help families work towards their desired outcomes. Additionally, I integrate a person-centered approach, tailoring therapy to the unique needs and preferences of each family, ensuring that their experiences are listened to and validated.
