I am licensed as an LPC since 2018 and have been working in the mental health field since 2010. I am certified in EMDR (trauma processing therapy) and am working towards certification in Schema therapy.

Reaching out to a therapist is a very vulnerable experience. To make this a helpful and healing journey for you, I do my best to prioritize tailoring therapy to your specific needs. I want you to get the most out of these sessions and be able to develop independent skills to manage your mental health through real therapy and evidence-based practice.

In your first session we will get an idea of what has been bothering you and make a plan together for how we will combat it with therapy. The next session will be examining how thoughts affect your emotions and experience. From there, depending on the plan, we will continue with a cognitive-behavioural approach, or use techniques from different therapies to meet your individual needs and goals.
