Jamie has gained diverse professional experience. Creative interventions, and positive approaches that are customized to meet each client's needs. Jamie spent almost 2 years living in Quito Ecuador. She has extended family in Puerto Rico. She has visited 7 countries, giving her a strong multicultural view of the world that allows her to work with clients from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. She has worked in the emergency room with the Spanish-speaking population, medical school students in California, and in the administration of a non-profit school with the Native American population near the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona.
She has experience providing individual therapy with children, teens, and adults. She also works with couples and families. She has provided therapeutic interventions for a variety of mental health diagnoses including but not limited to major depression, anxiety, marital stress, family problems, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, sexual abuse, domestic violence, trauma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), ASD (autism spectrum disorder), and conducted intake assessments.
